Ramazan Çölmek, who lives in the village of Kırmacı in Azdavay, visited Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital in 2022 due to health issues. Thanks to the attentiveness of Dr. Mahmut Çınar, an internal medicine specialist at the hospital, Çölmek underwent tests based on suspicions of cancer and was diagnosed with colon cancer. After undergoing 8 rounds of chemotherapy, Çölmek was admitted to the intensive care unit and later underwent surgery. He successfully overcame cancer following the successful operation performed by General Surgeon Dr. Yavuz Selim Kahraman.
ÇÖLMEK: "THEY SAY THERE ARE NO DOCTORS AT KEAH, BUT THAT'S UNFAIR"
Çölmek praised the doctors who performed his successful surgery and diagnosis, stating, "They never left me alone during this process. May Allah bless them a thousand times. They saved me from this disease. I thank my doctors, Dr. Mahmut Çınar and Dr. Yavuz Selim Kahraman, who performed my surgery. People say there are no doctors at Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital, but that is unfair. We have doctors, and they rush to our help. May Allah bless them. I thank all the healthcare workers, including the hospital management."
In addition to his gratitude, Ramazan Çölmek organized a meal to thank his doctors and all the healthcare staff involved in his treatment.
